Country Taco

Hubby and I decided to take a chance and we're happy we did. Service for dinner was a little slow, but well worth the wait. We had the Wet Burrito and Chimichanga. Both were made fresh and served hot. I hope they make it. It's nice to have a dinning option close to home. Keep up the great food! Highly recommend!

Amazing, Amazing!!! The food tastes top notch. They definitely know what they are doing. To start the chips and salsa, so good. Make sure you get the refill on the chips. Main course you can not gonwrong with any of it. Plus,if you have an event, let them know, and they will do what works for you. Enjoy this place they deserve it!!!

We've been camping at Potato Creek for years and a new restaurant popped up in North Liberty, e decided to try it for dinner and we are so glad we did. Homemade chips and salsa were brought for us to start, chips were crispy and salsa was good. The food was extremely flavorful, well presented and portion sizes were plentiful. My wife had the chimichangas and I had the chicken wet burrito. The sauce on both dishes was delicious, wife had a mix of cheese,and chicken chimis which were amazing. My burrito was flavorful, but not too spicy. Our waitress was friendly and never let out drinks go empty. We met the owner and her nephew who were extremely friendly and genuinely interested in our opinion of the food. I hope they do well as we will be back. There are not many places to eat in North Liberty or the area, please stop in and give Country Taco a try, we are so glad we did!

We have been here a few times while camping at Potato Creek State Park. It has always been clean. The food is always very good. And generous portions. The chips and salsa are very good!

This place is a hidden jem! Very good tacos! I got the steak, chorizo and pastor tacos. My favorite was the pastor tacos. Wife got the burrito and it was huge. Everything was very fresh. Would definitely be coming back. They even have elotes! Seriously, come check this spot out. They even do some delivery options.

The deserts are always amazing. The tacos are good, and the chi-queso is my favorite. The chips are freshly made. The only thing I don't care for is the rice. Its bland.

This was/is a great local restaurant. Hard to find parking and from the locals it sounds like the Town and a local business is the issue. Once inside it has humble but good decor. Dinning area was clean and well kept. Service was very good and helpful and was good at explaining menu options and specials. I forgot to take pictures of the plates but the 3 taco, bean and rice special we got were excellent and a good sized portion! The only two draw backs here are trying to find parking and they do charge extra for chips and salsa after the first serving. Bathrooms were clean.

Today was their grand opening. The courteous, friendly lady at the counter was very helpful. They are still working out the flow of things, but all the staff seemed attentive and trying to work together. The food was tasty. The dessert was amazing. I'll definitely give them another try, but I'll probably eat in. They serve chips and salsa. I asked a patron about his food, he said the salsa was good. The chips are handmade but very hard.
